What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

Dystopia is the polar opposite to utopia  the true meaning of dystopia is a world where everything is wrong example are the hunger games and anthem.

A character in the story the main character in fact is Equality 7-2521 is six feet tall, 21 year old male in the story he doesn't want to be like everyone else he wants to be a scholar but is told to be a doctor.

In the dystopia that Equality like there is no electricity no freedom and no individuality to me I don't think it's all that bad it's jut a strange place to live in there just needs to be individuality.

on one hand I can with out no freedom but then I can never co what I want I'd have to follow a bunch of laws. Then on then the other hand I can live without individuality but then I can't be myself I'd be like everyone else I can't choose.

If I had to live without freedom technology or individuality which would be the easiest to live without I can definitely live without technology because I have my art I can keep my self sane. Although I grew up with technology I can go a long time without it.

No they were not successful because equality thrived to be something else
